After two drawings in 2007, this is the first painting I have done with the dodo bird.
What drew me to the dodo image is that not only is it a stand in for human consumption and disregard for planet and fellow man; but it also represents exploration, colonialism, curiosity, and an icon for what could, or should, of been.
